The Hon Craig Laundy MP, Federal Minister for Small and Family Business, the Workplace and Deregulation, visited Riverside Business Chamber territory on 5 April, courtesy of John Alexander MP, Member for Bennelong.
RBC worked with John Alexander’s office to organise a lunch for Mr Laundy and representatives of our local Chambers of Commerce and cultural business organisations.
Round table talk touched on development (and overdevelopment), transport and other topics, with Mr Laundy encouraging guests to enter the debate. Usually it’s Q&A at the end of a politician’s speech but Mr Laundy, with a background as a small business owner, likes to do things differently.
He did make a speech after listening to and engaging with our guests, and you can listen to it here:
After lunch Mr Laundy visited the businesses of three RBC members: Snowden Parkes Real Estate, Helloworld Top Ryde City and Bahar Persian Food and Art. See photos from those visits here (courtesy Andrew Hill, RBC Vice President).
Our thanks to Mr Laundy for making the time to visit and listen and answer questions, and John Alexander and his team for enabling this event.
