Ryde Rotary 2018 Pride of Workmanship Awards – enter now

All people in the community are welcome to nominate an employee, to recognise their outstanding efforts at their workplace.

The Pride of Workmanship Award scheme, a Rotary initiative, aims to recognise the individuals in the community whose personal performance in their work deserves recognition and celebration. Positive role models like this help encourage other individuals to develop their skills and pride within their own workplace, and ultimately is a catalyst for a national positive attitude towards excellence in all workplaces.

This is an excellent opportunity for employers to showcase their business as an enterprise that values high standards of service. It is also an opportunity for residents to identify someone in the community who excels in the quality and pride of their work. Residents should approach the employer, let them know how great their employee is and recommend them to nominate that person.

It’s easy to get involved. Nominations can be made by any employer, and the awards are open to all employees in any type of business.

Successful nominees will receive awards at a special presentation dinner held by the Rotary Club of Ryde, on Tuesday May 1st.

The motto of “Service above Self” signifies Rotary as a worldwide organisation whose main objective is to give service to the community, to workplaces, and this is reflected in its involvement in humanitarian projects throughout the world.

Everyone is encouraged to support this local and global initiative, as Rotary clubs across Australia, and indeed around the world, hold similar Pride of Workmanship events throughout the year.

To nominate someone you believe shows a level of service and pride in their work worthy of such an award, please contact the Rotary Club of Ryde, www.ryderotary.org.au
