RBC kicks off the year at Mitronics

Mitronics Corporation in West Ryde hosted our first event for 2019, and around 60 members and guests attended to kick off the new year and learn more about Mitronics.

Mitronics not only sell printers and copiers and other office equipment, they can supply all your stationery at a very competitive rate. And being the good guys they are, they are big supporters of charities and the community.

Mitronics is owned by Roger Amir and John Siljic and has been operating, and growing, in West Ryde for 25 years.

Speakers on the night included:

  • Tony Abboud, who spoke about the proposed redevelopment of the block Mitronics is in, which will make it a technology employment hub for small to medium businesses
  • Clr Craig Chung of the City of Sydney with an update on Sydney’s Lunar New Year celebrations
  • Clr Simon Zhou, Deputy Mayor of Ryde, who spoke about Ryde’s own Lunar New Year celebration on the 16th of February.
  • The Hon Victor Dominello MP, Member for Ryde, who, like Tony, enlightened guests on the future employment park in West Ryde
  • Andrew Hill on behalf of David Zhou of the Australia-China Economic Culture and Technology Development Corporation. There is going to be delegation of Australian businesses to China in March to attend the 2019 China-Australia Cross-border e-commerce Culture and Education Cooperation Promotion Conference. RBC members are invited to attend at a very reasonable cost. More information will be provided as soon as we have it in soft copy
