Photo opportunity with Commonwealth Games Baton at February Business After Hours

Commonwealth Games excitement starts this month when the 2018 Queen’s Baton Relay commences in Canberra on Australia Day, 26 January.

The Baton Relay will visit Sydney Olympic Park on Sunday 4 February when local sport and community leaders will have their opportunity to run with the Baton.

Andrew Hill, local tennis and sports coach and Vice-President of business association Riverside Business Chamber, will be one of the chosen runners on Olympic Boulevard that day.

“It is a privilege to be part of the 2018 Queen’s Baton Relay,” Andrew said. “Our STARS Team has been educating children at Kids in the Park at Sydney Olympic Park this month with the official 2018 runners outfit and the 2006 Commonwealth Baton replica.”

Big kids get an opportunity for their photo with the 2006 Baton too, at Riverside Business Chamber’s Business After Hours on Monday 5 February in The Village at Julius Avenue, North Ryde.
