Letter to our members, September 2017

The Presidents of Ryde Business Forum Inc (RBF) and Ryde Macquarie Park Chamber of Commerce Inc (RMPCC) are delighted to inform you that the amalgamation of both organisations has been approved by NSW Fair Trading.

As a result you are now a member of the new amalgamated association Riverside Business Chamber Inc. (RBC).

Please note that as a consequence of the amalgamation RBF and RMPCC no longer exist as separate legal entities. RBC takes on the assets and liabilities of both RBF and RMPCC.

RBC objectives include those typically expected of any traditional chamber of commerce. RBC will provide opportunities for its members to grow their business, through networking events, education seminars and workshops, administrative and support services.

RBC will represent its members through lobbying to all three levels of government. It will provide additional networking, learning opportunities and business tools through its partnership with the NSW Business Chamber.

RBC will also act as a representative voice for the other chambers of commerce who operate in the neighbouring geographical area, supporting and promoting their activities in the community and encouraging inclusion and collaboration between all members of these organisations.

We will be launching our new organisation and logo at Business After Hours on Monday, 9 October, and hope you can join us for this special event. Register here (link to registration page).

New emails have been organised for Sabrina Ferguson, Executive Officer ( and Marcella Letteri, Events Co-ordinator (

RBC’s contact phone number is 9952 8498; we are located in the Binary Centre, 3 Richardson Place, in the City of Ryde offices, and Marcella works out of that office.

We will keep you informed of developments as we bring our new, strong Business Chamber to life.

Kind regards
