Business After Hours hosted by Melrose Park (review)

This isn’t just a development, it’s an entire township! The Melrose Park development includes 6000 new apartments including key worker accommodation, 1500 full-time jobs, a new retail town centre, community and childcare facilities and 3.7 hectares of open space and parks, and will transform a former industrial area near Wharf Road over the next ten years.

Guests at Melrose Park and the interactive travel display

Around 100 members and guests were privileged to view the proposed development through models and a presentation by Boston Marketing and developers PAYCE. Melrose Park will have its own internal streetcar running the length of the development, and will have fantastic public transport access with light rail, a fast ferry and buses to carry people to the city and Parramatta. Thanks to Melrose Park for their delicious lucky draw prize, a bottle of Veuve Cliquot won by Christine Lee of Ultimate Minds. Luke and Lyne Magee of Chill IT donated a huge bag of sweets won by Matthew Thoms of LCU and an umbrella (given the spattering of rain very appropriate) won by Carolyne Beattie of Scribbles and Giggles.

Our Business of the Month winner was John Siljic of Mitronics, who will host our February 2019 Business After Hours.
