Business After Hours at The Governor Hotel (review)

Tony Abboud addresses members and guestsWhen the sun comes out at 5pm after a day of rain on Business After Hours night we rejoice, especially when the venue is open to the air and district views. Members and guests joined us on the Ess Terrace at the Governor Hotel for fabulous food, 180 degree views and superb hospitality from Macquarie Park’s new and outstanding hotel. Hotel manager Greg Barclay welcomed everyone and gave an update on key events at the Governor over the next few months.
Member Chill IT provided one of the lucky draw prizes – an oversized umbrella just right for the wet October we’re having right now. Our thanks to Luke and Lyne Magee for their generosity. Pear Nuntakarat of Snowden Parkes Estate Agents will be keeping dry when the rain returns! The Governor Hotel provided a bottle of Yarra Valley Pinot Noir which first time visitor Rita Morar of Keystone Focalpoint Coaching will enjoy.

Clr Bernard Purcell of City of Ryde spoke briefly about the positive impact the Governor Hotel is having on Ryde’s night time economy.
