Achieve-ing A Great Business After Hours

Achieve-ing a great Business After Hours

Achieve Australia is growing in leaps and bounds, as Anne Bryce, CEO, told members and guests at this month’s Business After Hours. The organisation, in the last 120 days, has expanded its facilities and services across wider Sydney to assist even more clients with their NDIS needs, but has also grown locally, cementing Achieve Australia’s footprint in the region where it started; helping locals with disability live extraordinary lives. Anne said that employees may reach the 1,000 level soon – a terrific Achieve-ment.

Achieve Australia is looking for a pop-up shop for its wildly popular fabric, craft and wool shop, which is closing shortly due to redevelopment.

RBC President Tony Abboud spoke about his recent meeting with the City of Ryde and to expect an exciting announcement for business soon. See the video here:

Other speakers on the night included

  • Hayley Mackintosh from Servcorp, our Patron member and host of next month’s Business After Hours. She spoke about the current great deal where members can get a 25% discount off services;
  • Clr Craig Chung from the City of Sydney, a Ryde resident and former City of Ryde Councillor with ideas on how Ryde can copy the City of Sydney’s outlook on trading hours and increasing its night time economy, as well as ideas for making the Macquarie Park precinct a hive for high connectivity speeds the NBN can only dream about; and
  • Alina Martin from Eden Gardens, who said there will be a pet-friendly day on Sunday 15 July at Eden Gardens, with workshops and mobile dog washing, and also that the annual sculpture exhibition in the Gardens will be opening in spring.

We welcomed new member Karim Hwalla from Tax Store Sydney, who is the host of our September Business After Hours.
