Our March Business After Hours had a creative buzz about it – around 60 members and guests joined hosts Lara Van Der Wall, Charles Mouyat and Stefan Sojka of The Flex Agency in Macquarie Park. The Flex Agency has just been launched as part of Studio Nero‘s offerings.
All attendees were invited to have a free studio portrait taken on the night, suitable for use as a social media profile photo. At the back of The Flex Agency is a very ‘Flex-ible’ studio, with white walls and a dedicated green wall section for video use.
Lara, Charles and Stefan spoke about the broad capabilities of The Flex Agency to deliver creative, knockout material for any kind of marketing, particularly across the social media sphere.
We thank our hosts for their generosity, providing delicious food, drinks and generous lucky draw prizes.
Tony Abboud talked about the building we were standing in forming part of a 50-storey mixed use development if planning goes ahead. He also spoke about RBC lobbying for the light rail from Parramatta to run through Ryde and Macquarie Park rather than Sydney Olympic Park. See part of his speech below.
Alina Martin of Eden Gardens gave an update including the refurbishment of the popular Dragonfly Cafe.
The Hon Matt Kean gave a brief overview of his role as Minister for Innovation and Better Regulation – we will be talking to him about being a guest speaker at a future event.
